Vietnam Travel Guide

How to Get to Vietnam

There are a few different transportation methods you can choose from to travel to Vietnam. You can fly, take a bus, or even travel by train.

If you fly I recommend checking out Google Flights. Depending on where you are travelling from this may be the only options. With Google Flights you can turn on flight tracking to try and find the best deals.

The other travel option to get to Vietnam is to travel by bus or train. This is a great option if you are travelling in a neighbouring country such as Thailand, Laos, or Cambodia.  If you are interested in this transport options you can book these trains or busses on 12GoAsia which is the website I booked all my transport around Southeast Asia on.

How to Travel Around Vietnam

Traveling within cities I used Grab pretty often. Grab is the equivalent to Uber in Southeast Asia and you can find rides for super cheap. It is a great option if you are like myself and do not feel comfortable renting a motorbike and driving yourself in Vietnam.

Travelling in between cities in Vietnam I recommend booking busses or trains on 12GoAsia. 12GoAsia is the app I used throughout my travels in Southeast Asia to book busses, trains, and even ferry for SUPER cheap.
