Travelling to a new destination can be overwhelming at times not sure how to spend your time, do not worry I felt the same way travelling to Corfu Greece for the first time but I had an amazing three days exploring Corfu island and I am going to share how you can do the same.

This post is all about the 3-day Corfu Greece itinerary.

Corfu Greece Itinerary

Day 1 in Corfu

Explore Corfu Old Town

Corfu GreeceCorfu Old Town

You should spend your first day in Corfu Greece exploring Corfu Old Town. Corfu town has many little cobblestone streets to walk along, where you can window shop, pop into some stores, or stop at a cafe or restaurant for a bit to eat or something to drink. You can spend hours just walking up and down the streets of the Old Town of Corfu.

There are also some great attractions and spots to visit in and around Corfu old town. The top things to do in Corfu Old Town include…

  • Cosmopolitan Liston and Spianada Square
The Liston and Spinanda is a part of Corfu old town that is lined with cafes and restaurants. So if you are looking for a nice place to eat in Corfu this is the place to go.
  • Old Venetian Fortress of Corfu & New Venetian Fortress
The Old Venetian Fortress and New Fortress are popular attractions in Corfu. Many travellers to Corfu will go on tours to these spots and learn about the history of these fortresses. There are many tours that tell you all about Corfu’s history including this tour on GetYourGuide called “Corfu: History and Culture Walking Tour” which is a 3-hour tour that includes entrance to the Old Venetian Fortress.
  • Bosketo Gardens
Bosketo Gardens in Corfu is a beautiful garden located right along the water. If you are looking for a scenic walk around Corfu Old Town this is one of the places to visit.
  • Palace of St. Michael and St. George
The Palace of St. Michael and St. George in Corfu is now a Museum of Asian Art that many travellers to Corfu will visit. It costs around $9 to enter the Museum of Corfu and you can purchase tickets on the Corfu Museum of Asia Art’s website, click here.

Day 2 in Corfu

Paxos and Antipaxos Day Tour

You MUST spend at least one of your days in Corfu exploring the islands of Paxos and Antipaxos. I went on this tour on my second day in Corfu. This tour was the highlight of my Corfu trip. I booked this tour off of GetYourGuide it was called “From Corfu: Day Cruise to Paxos, Antipaxos, & the Blue Caves.” This is a full-day tour, lasting between 8-11 hours, that brings you to the beautiful islands of Paxos and Antipaxos. You get to explore caves, swim in the most amazing blue water (the photos above are not edited), and walk around the town of Gaios. Many tours visit Paxos and Antipaxos from Corfu but I chose this one since it is an affordable price for a full-day experience.

Day 3 in Corfu

Beach Day and Relax

Corfu Beaches

For your third and last day in Corfu Greece, I recommend spending it as a beach day and relaxing on some of the most beautiful beaches in Corfu. There are many amazing beaches in Corfu but the best beaches in Corfu include…

  • Paleokastritsa Beach
Paleokastritsa is a village in Corfu located on the northwest side of the island. In the village of Paleokastritsa is Paleokastritsa Beach which is one of the best beaches in Corfu. This beach is known for its clear blue water, white sand beach, and surrounding rocky cliffs making this an amazing beach for tourists to visit. If you are staying in Corfu Old Town it will take around 30 minutes to drive to Paleokastritsa beach.
  • Canal D’Amour
Canal D’Amour is another popular beach to visit in Corfu. This beach is also located on the northwest side of Corfu. The rock formations are said to create great places to swim. This cliff also makes for a great view of Corfu’s landscape if you climb up to the top. The drive from Corfu Old Town to Canal d’Amour is around 50 minutes.
  • Agios Georgios Beach
Agios Georgios Beach is a huge sandy beach located around a 45-minute drive from Corfu Old Town. This beach is known for its calm and clear waters making it great for swimming and other water activities.
  • Porto Timoni Beach
Porto Timoni Beach is a great beach to visit for a day trip located close to Afionas. Afionas is a town in Corfu located on the northwest side of the island. To reach Porto Timoni Beach you can take a boat or walk 20 minutes from Afionas. Make sure to stock up on food, drinks and anything else you need for your beach day as Porto Timoni Beach is very secluded.
  • Agios Gordios Beach
Agios Gordios Beach is yet another great beach located on Corfu Island. This beach is located on the west side of the island around a 30-minute drive from Corfu Old Town. It is said to be easy to get to from Corfu Old Town by car and bus. The beach is located close to many beachfront restaurants which is perfect if you are planning a day trip to Agios Gordios beach. There are also sunbeds for rent or free with the purchase of a drink or food.

Those are just a few of the many amazing Corfu beaches. If you are someone who loves relaxing on a beach, swimming, or participating in water activities, Corfu Greece is the place for you.

That brings us to the end of this 3-day Corfu Greece itinerary. In only three days you can explore the cobblestone streets and top attractions in Corfu Old Town, go on a boat tour to two other amazing Greek islands, and visit some of Corfu’s amazing beaches. 3 days may not seem like a lot of time but it is enough time you have an amazing trip to Corfu. My trip to Corfu Greece was amazing and I hope this Corfu itinerary will help you have an amazing trip as well. Hope you have a great time exploring Corfu and safe travels!
